Biography
Admitted to the Quebec Bar in 2002, Geeta Narang is a Montreal
lawyer whose practice focuses on civil litigation, landlord-tenant relations and public law issues. She pleads before the provincial tenancy board, the Court of Québec and Superior Court.
Me Narang is also acting as director and legal counsel of the
Mile End Legal Clinic, a grass-roots not for profit organization dedicated to promoting access to justice, by providing free legal consultations to individuals and organizations that cannot afford traditional legal representation.
In 2009, the Young Bar Association of Montreal named Me Narang “Lawyer of the Year” in the pro bono / social responsibility category.
She graduated from McGill’s Faculty of Law with Distinction and articled at the International War Crimes Tribunal for the Former Yugoslavia in The Hague.
