Bertrand Salvas started in private practice as a notary in 1983, specializing in business and real estate law. For over a decade, he has taken a special interest in the field of information technology. He completed his Master of Laws in this field, focusing on the management of personal information over the Internet.
A technology law columnist, primarily for the Chambre des notaire’s journal Entracte, he is also a member of the Comité de veille technologique [technology watch committee] of the professional order of notaries. He was editor of the Canadian law website CanLII for several years, and now works as a professional trainer.
