Biography Marie-Josée Dupuis is head of legal information services at Au bas de l’échelle, a group that defends the rights of non-unionized workers. She is responsible for ensuring that the legal information provided by the various branches of the organization, notably the telephone information service, is up to date.

She contributed to drafting the 10th edition of l’ABC des personnes non syndiquées, a plain-language book on labour law.

Before working at Au bas de l’échelle, Marie-Josée Dupuis was a doctoral student at the École de relations industrielles of the University of Montreal and a member of the Centre de recherche interuniversitaire sur la mondialisation et le travail. Her research focused on labour law, public policy in labour matters and especially the situation of “precarious” workers. She has co-authored several articles in academic journals in the areas of law, public administration and management.
