Words and Beyond provides plain language services for many Australian and other clients, including major law firms, private companies, government agencies, the United Nations, and the European Central Bank. His company Cleardocs is an online provider of “ready-to sign” legal document packages in
Australia and
England and Wales. The hallmarks of the Cleardocs brand are "clarity, simplicity, and ease of use”. Mr. Balmford is also president of
Clarity, an international association whose members include lawyers and others who promote plain legal language.
