Me Lucie Lauzière

Biography
Lucie Lauzière is a lawyer and professor at the Faculty of Law of Université Laval. From 1997 to 2005, she was vice-dean, secretary and director of undergraduate programs at this faculty. Her fields of teaching and research are legislative drafting, statutory interpretation, research methodology, comparative law, professional law and disciplinary law. Prior to her academic career, Me Lauzière was legislative counsel at the Quebec Ministry of Justice (1982-1992) and the Department of Justice of Canada (1981). She is currently chair of the executive committee of the Chaire de rédaction juridique Louis-Philippe-Pigeon and vice-president of the Société québécoise d'information juridique (SOQUIJ). She is a member of the Quebec Bar, the Association québécoise de droit comparé, the Association des professeurs de droit du Québec and the Association Henri-Capitant.
