For over 15 years, she worked in private practice in the fields of banking, bankruptcy and civil law. Early on in her career, she became interested in the professional training of future lawyers. She taught courses in drafting, pleading, procedure, evidence in civil matters, and bankruptcy law at the Quebec Bar School in Montreal. In 2000, she was appointed director of the Montreal section of the Bar School, and in 2005, director of the Bar School for the province of Quebec. In 2008, she became director of compulsory continuing education programs.

Me Tremblay believes that to properly train the next generation of lawyers and ensure that continuing education meets the needs of practitioners, training activities must be desinged in light of the challenges of and trends in the profession. These activities must also promote plain language and participative justice and take into account the social evironment in which the law operates.
