Biography
Daniel Champagne is director of legal information and customer relations at the Société québécoise d'information juridique (SOQUIJ), an organization that analyzes and publishes thousands of decisions from courts and administrative tribunals in Quebec each year. In this capacity, he is responsible for the drafting and editing of all legal publications, both printed and electronic. A member of the Quebec Bar (1983), he graduated from the Faculty of Law of the University of Montreal and holds a diploma in notarial law. He worked at SOQUIJ as legal counsel responsible for several different areas of law, including municipal law, insurance law and civil liability, and as coordinator of the civil and public law section.
