Biography
Katrina Peddle is a legal information coordinator at the Centre for Community Organizations (COCO), which is based in Montreal. She works with English-speaking, bilingual and ethno-cultural groups across Quebec to meet their legal information needs, and uses legal information as a tool to support progressive social change. She has a PhD in Communication Studies and is currently studying law at McGill University. Katrina has been active in social justice movements for many years, working in the areas of youth empowerment and advocacy, refugee support and sustainable rural development. She is passionate about using an empowerment-based approach to community legal information.
